What an honour to know that I had a small ...Amanda,
What an honour to know that I had a small part in influencing this blog and this journey!
Last year I was blown away by Alan November's invitation to present at BLC08 and at that point my journey as a 'digital savvy' teacher started only two years before... but like you I've learned so much in such a short time.
I've now done a few more presentations and I'm delighted to be going back to Boston again this year. But reading a post like this and knowing that my presentations actually influence others is heartwarming! :-)
The learning continues, and I know enough to know that I don't know enough... and yet I think the most exciting thing that I've learned at all is not anything to do with technology.
I've learned that a community of learners can accomplish almost anything and that modelling that for students has its own rewards!

Congrats on your blogaversary!
Dave.David Trusshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00519890493979141068noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-786079347104048326.post-36954970172890089192009-06-25T13:24:21.326-07:002009-06-25T13:24:21.326-07:00I know, I think they found that quite reassuring, ...I know, I think they found that quite reassuring, in a way, as I was proof that it is all manageable (if somewhat addictive!)A Salthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03176041184575847560noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-786079347104048326.post-23130648496695638532009-06-24T13:29:15.622-07:002009-06-24T13:29:15.622-07:00Wow! I think the best thing about you post is that you only started last summer and already you are running workshops to enthuse people and to get them on the "web 2.0 train"!. I think it's so energizing, thank you!aliceayelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15189832396597470288noreply@blogger.com
